About Diane
Diane currently works with "Cirque Plume" where she performs her dance trapeze act in the show "L'atelier du peintre." Diane graduated from the National Circus School of Montreal in June 2010 with a specialty in Dance Trapeze and a minor in Aerial Fabric. During her studies in Montreal, Diane developed a solid foundation in juggling, acrobatics, boleadoras, and body percussion. She performed her dance trapeze act and boleadoras for Cirque Eloize's "Grand Fête Tzigane" benefit, and also performed both aerial fabric and tango in the annual Argentine Tango Festival of Montreal for three consecutive years.
Before moving to Montreal, she lived in Miami, Florida where she was performing and studying dance and circus. During this time, she studied intensively Flamenco, Argentine Tango, Ballroom, and Latin dances. She has traveled several times to Madrid, Spain to study at "El Amor de Dios" Flamenco School. She performed multiple times with the Florida Grand Opera in South Florida, and was a Flamenco dancer in the Latin Grammy's "Premio lo Nuestro" production.
Throughout her teenage years, Diane was involved in community theatre where she was able to further develop her skills in dance and singing. She attended a performing arts high school where she was in the musical theatre program and performed in many school productions. Diane grew up in Tampa, Florida where she began dance and music classes at a young age. She has a solid base in ballet, jazz, and tap dancing and has developed ear training in both music and rhythm.

Diane specializes in dance trapeze and will soon graduate from the National Circus School of Montreal. She has created a unique number which fuses together her two passions: dance trapeze and flamenco. Coached by renowned teachers, Jacinthe Tremblay and Véronique Thibeault, Diane has also had the pleasure to have Julie Lachance as her artistic advisor.
